Talk to her doctor: The question is why she is third spacing. This can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia or can be due to a low serum protein level, or any number of other things. She needs to talk to her OB about the cause in order to know what if anything she needs to do about it. It can take some time for the changes of pregnancy to resolve after delivery. Hope this helps.

If unilateral - DVT?: While it is common to have swollen lower extremities postpartum as fluid shifts occur after delivery, this is usually bilateral.  If the swelling is unilateral and/or accompanied by pain, would recommend seeking evaluation to confirm not a deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremity, which has potential serious medical complications (e.g. Pulmonary embolus).

Vasoprine: Vasoprine is a combination of Aspirin and isosorbide. It is not used to treat swelling. You should ask you doctor before starting any medication during pregnancy.

DVT: Dvt has no reason to cause arrhythmia unless associated with pulmonary embolus. Swelling described could have several causes.Worth getting checked.

Hello. : Hello. You indicated that you gained 30 pounds in one week - usually that rapid a weight gain is due to fluid retention.  The swelling of your lower extremities helps to support that idea. I don't know if the blood work, and ultrasounds were done before or after that weight gain.  Even if a definitive cause is not known, your doctor should be able to help diuress some of that fluid (if that is infact what it is). I am a psychiatrist, so i can not provide you with a second opinion. However, if you had not yet had that level of weight gain, please get this reassessed by your provider. Also ask about help to reduce the fluid that is being retained in your lower extremities. In the meantime, you may wish to sit with your legs propped up, so that you won't have so much gravitational pull on the fluids.

Not a sign: This is not a sign of pregnancy.  Check a pregnancy test if you are uncertain.  There can be skin changes with pregnancy but most often they involve increase in pigmentation around the nipples and in the midline on the belly.

Wait till delivery: Pigmentations are common during a PG

It is best to wait until after delivery to consider RX.

Just point the areas out to your OB on your next visit.

Too early to know: Usually see an early embryo by this time..But there are many exceptions  getting pregnant is a good first step  hopefully, 2 weeks will tell.
