i broke out with red like sunburn rash today all over body, took 50mg benadryl (diphenhydramine) and doesn't seem to help.  two days ago i was in bed all day because every joint in my body hurt and had no energy or strength... not sure if it's related.

Viral Illness: If your rash is red, raised, and itchy you could be suffering from acute hives (urticaria). Hives is a common manifestation during are shortly after a viral infection which it sounds like you are suffering from. Try treating with OTC nonsedating antihistamine like Zyrtec (cetirizine) 1-2 per day and symptomatic management (increased fluids, rest). If rash not responding see doctor to have evaluated.

See below....: How long has this been going on?  It could possibly be the start of shingles and the rash just hasn't appeared yet.

ik tanning beds are bad for you. i tanned in one yesterday and a few hours later i got a sunburn rash across my chest and its the next night and its very itchy like worse then ever but the rash and redness is gone, i tan a lot but never had this?

: I suspect you "tanned" too much. I prefer to call it cooking your skin and your got tanning machine burned. If you your are taking meds that predispose to UV skin injury check with your Dr. Beware.

Tenderness,dysthesia: Such tenderness, if it's the skin, without rash or redness, suggests a hypersensitivity of skin disorder. I would look for deficiencies of magnesium,calcium,iron,vitamin b12, and also check thyroid status. Anxiety is a possible cause also. Discuss this with your physician.

Healing skin: your skin has been damaged. keep it well moisturized and use sunblock spf 30 or greater every 2 hours while outside. All sunblocks have to be applied every 2-3 hours no matter what the manufacturer says.

on my neck (looked like patch of sunburn), now it changed color to light brown and is scabby and dry. is it normal?

For a sun burn: What you described appears to be the usual progression of sun burn.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

: Nausea will resolve after 24-48 hours.
Rashes will most likely disappear within 5-7 days.

HIV: This is conceivable, but no clinical findings are reliable in predicting HIV infection.  If you have been potentially exposed it is wise to be tested. Good luck.

?Fifth's disease: Erythema infectiosum or fifth disease is caused by the parvo virus b-19. And can often present as a "slapped cheek" appearance of a rash that can also spread to the hands.  It is self limiting and treatment is supportive. (rest, fluids, tylenol (acetaminophen) for fever and aches). If persists, see the dr.
