there is a patch of skin on my fore arm that is very tiny bumps, not red, not itchy. i had shingles last year and it is on the same arm. dry skin? or?

Skin lesions: May just be dry skin (try moisturizing cream several times a day; avoid very hot baths/showers & harsh soaps). Might be sun damage from too much exposure; see doc for evaluation; actinic keratoses are easily treated via many methods. Use sunscreen when outdoors, even on cloudy days. If blisters form, may be recurrence of shingles (not common) but best treated early.

i have this red blochy itchy dry skin on my arms.right now i use a cream called eucerin.it's doesn't really help.i have had this on my arms for a whil?

See a dermatologist: Without being able to examine this it is impossible to diagnose and recommend therapy, but a good dermatologist will know exactly what to do.  Hope this clears up soon.

Get it checked again: It might be related to ageing process of the skin and might be benign lesions. However, since it was seen by a doctor in the past and there was an advice to watch it, I would advise you to get it checked again to rule out a badness

Dermatology: Eczema can be controlled and in many cases cured using prescription medication or 5-10% OTC hydrocortisone cream. I suggest a pediatric consultation and Rx for Elidel.

You know: the meth will make that kind of rash worse!  Otherwise it sounds most like dry skin eczema.  If it is, the thin applications of baby oil will help

Try a: combination of Aloe vera, Vaseline and moisturizer.
Aloe Vesta  is a popular brand.  Apply 3-4 x a day.

Hydrate and moisture: Make sure she is well hydrated, water is best. Change to non scented products for laundry and skip the dryer towels. Bathe her with soaps that are not perfumed, such as dove. Apply moisturizer, again unscented while skin is damp after a short bath. Apply moisturizer several times per day. Avoid triggers in food, additives, and pollens. Try several creams and find what is agreeable to her skin.

Skin: Yes, it sounds exactly like eczema. You can treat his with lotions or steroid creams for maximum benefit. However this process does come and go and may spread at times. Hope this helps.

i have dry skin on arms inside elbow was very red skin & sore now red in underarms & today under breasts  doc gave me steroid cream & aquaphor. can i use aquaphor 4 breasts if heat rash? dont know if it is dry skin like arms or red from heat? i am 80

Suggestive of eczema: Your doctor prescribed the correct medication.
Please be careful of soaps and bubble baths, as this can aggravate  eczema..  Be mindful of body lotions as well.
Please make sure that you dry under your breasts after bathing.
 You can use cornflour (Maizena) under your breasts to keep them dry , especially during heat rash.
 Also try to use non-alcoholic under-arm sprays
