my knuckles are constantly red, but the skin is not dry / cracked, in fact it's well moisturised. the redness makes it look as if i have been fighting. please could any advise on the potential cause and any solutions? thank you?

: First guess is you have your hands in water a lot such as dishwashing or wearing rubber gloves and sweating.  Picture is worth…..

butt crack. redness, sitting pain, redness. shaving didn't help. no wound present but had multiple minor skin tears months ago different locations. not at anus (hole). gets worse during day. ok after sleeping. what could it be? how to talk to gp?

: Could be either infection, allergy, or inflammation of hair follicles. See dermatologist for evaluation and treatment. Might also help if you were able to get pics when problem is at its worst.

Sensitive skin: It may help to discuss with a physician because a lot of questions come to mind that would help differentiate possible causes.  A common situation is contact sensitivity often to cosmetics or lip products, especially if there are fragrances or plant extracts contained in the products. Try avoiding these and take care to moisturize to promote healing (using frangrance/additive free product).

Yeast infection: Sounds like you might have a yeast infection (aka "Jock itch") in your buttocks area

Try keeping the area dry, and try an over the counter cream such as lotrimin cream (clotrimazole)

If it doesn't help in a few days, you should have a doctor take a look at it
