Many possibilities: This would need to be looked at to be able to make any sort of determination, but it is unlikely that steroids have much to do with it.

Inclusion cyst: This may be an inclusion cyst from an occluded gland or minor trauma. If it recurs, it may require excision.

Accepted Answer

No: a single red bump with a white tip is generally a localized bacterial infection.  Use heat  ( a hot water bottle or something about 104 to 106 degrees F) and if it gets better, you should be fine. Herpes is called that because the sores look like little grapes in a bunch, generally not with a white tip.

Sore: On Labia.  Sounds like it was a little cyst that I have patients come in frequently for.  Sounds like it spontaneously rupture and is healing.  Sometimes these recur and have to be drained and treated with antibiotics.  If it gets worse see your doctor.

Razor irritation: You probably got razor irritation.  Hopefully it's not infected.  Do not put betamethasone.  That's a steroid and may make it worse if infected.  Just keep it clean and dry.  If it gets worse, you may need an antibiotic.

Possibly: This could be a presentation for yeast.  Have your family doctor confirm it.

Possibly: If the bumps around the outside of the female reproductive area this is called the vulva. Condyloma's or warts are common in this area. The vagina is that slick moist part of the opening of the female reproductive system. There can be condylomas in this area as well.  Of course other stds are possible to. Consider seeing a gynecologist for exams so you can be sure.  And yes warts can return.

Doctor can look: A primary care doctor or an ob-gyn doctor will want to see the bumps while they are fresh, before they start healing up. The doctor can help figure out if the bumps are herpes, or some other problem / other infection.
