ive been picking at a reoccurring scab in my nose for almost 2 years now. i cant stop pulling it out whenever i feel it. (i do have ocd) what are the potential risks of this? my inner septum already feels slightly concave?

Nose picking? : It is really unusual to have scabs in your nose without trauma.  You can get nose bleeds with allergies or other reasons.  Sometimes people get nose bleeds with blood disorders.  You can also get nosebleeds with blood cancers like leukemia.  If you don't pick your nose, you need an evaluation

Abcess: It's best to have your physician examine you if there is continuing redness and tenderness or persistent drainage.

Dryness, infection: It is very common for the front of the nose to be infected due to local irritation, nose blowing and dryness. Mucous will form in the nose which can lead to scabbing and irritation. You might want to try some Bacitracin ointment inside your nostrils several times a day. There is also a product called ponaris oil which is like chapstick for the nose. This can be very helpful as well.

Dry: Most of the time, the nose is crusty because it is dry. See an ENT  for exam. Simple measures to help include nasal saline mist or nasal gel. Other problems may be present that need attention, so see md.

Staph: Probably a superficial staph infection. I would try some Bacitracin ointment inside your nostril several times today and see if that makes it better. If not you may want to see an ENT doctor.
