None: There is no recommended dosage; biotin deficiency is extremely rare, and most cases are due to chronic consumption of raw egg whites (due to avidin in them).  I don't think the supplements will necessarily cause harm, but without documented biotin deficiency, i doubt they will do any good, either.

Safe: The dose is not relevant. No dose is effective for anything whatsoever. Save your money. You have enough problems with the parkinson's. If hair loss is really important to you, see a dermatologist.

Doubt it: Biotin deficiency is rare, but can occur in persons with genetic mutations, on long-term antibiotics or anti-convulsants, or who eat a lot of raw egg whites. There is no good evidence that this easily available, over-the-counter supplement is the magic potion to grow hair or prevent hair loss. Biotin is safe to take at normal recommended doses (the Mayo Clinic website recommends 30-100 mcg a day).

None.: If you simply eat a reasonable diet consisting of fruits, nuts, green vegetables, and lean meat you should not need any extra vitamins or supplements of any kind. Thinning hair can be a sign of several different health issues (including stress), so see your doctor for evaluation.

Play it safe & smart: Bodies are resilient in some ways at times, and they are delicate in ways at times.  Products manufactured to aid our bodies can be beneficial, but if the company goes to the trouble of advising a dosage,  respect them! don't take risks! it is not smart  - you'd have no one to blame but yourself if there were bad results. Thinning hair is way less ugly than a very ill or dead woman.

Biotin: This is a huge dose of biotin and is not safe.  Perhaps the recommendation was for 15000 micrograms instead of mg.  A mg = 1000 micrograms.  Get another opinion.

Yes: But make sure the thyroid is treated adequately also.

Not the biotin: biotin is used to help with hair loss and nail growth as well as some skin conditions.  It should not cause back acne or rashes unless you are allergic to it.  You can try decreasing the dose or holding it for a few weeks to see if your acne improves but if it doesn't you should see your doctor to discuss causes and treatment options.
