OK for Max of Three: If you are average size, you can use up to 3 applied to unbroken skin at a time.You should not use for over 24 hours without a 12 hours period with them removed. If you stay within those requirements you should not experience any sedation, seizures or other systemic effects which can occur with an overdose or if the area with the patches are exposed to extreme heat. Valium/Elavil: Combining Valium with Elavil with Remeron (mirtazapine) adds to the sedation, otherwise the combination should be ok, as prescribed.

Inversion table: You should feel relief while on the table and every time you use it. Over time the benefits of reduced pain appear.

Weakness: If your pain is relieved with sitting buut worse when active begin a strenghtening program for your hips and back. If you do not see gradual improvement then you need to have a physician evaluate you.

Time: There is not much to do other than protect the area and let it heal over the next several weeks.  Use a donut cushion that will allow you to sit and take pressure off of the tail bone.  If the pain is poorly controlled with meds then an injection may help.  Discuss your options with your pcp.

Slowly: I assume that you are taking 40mg every 12 hours for a total dose of 80mg per day. You should wean slowly, usually by 10% increments. 
I would decrease to 30 mg bid for 2 weeks, then 20mg bid for 2 weeks, then 10mg bid for 4 weeks. If at any point you have true withdrawl symptoms, you can increase to the higher level briefly. Clonidine at low doses can reduce withdrawl symptoms.

I : I am sorry for your inconvenience.  My experience is that family doctors are less comfortable prescribing narcotic medications then in the past.  This may be due to stronger regulations in many states.  I think it is unlikely they think you are a drug addict with your usage.  I would recommend consultation with a pain medicine doctor.  They should be comfortable prescribing narcotic medications.  They also may be able to recommend interventional or surgical treatments to fix the problem.

I'm not impressed: About 1 person in 1000 has an autosomal dominant gene that keeps the GGT high all the time. It's not specific as a 'drunk screen' if the person's baseline value isn't known.

Depends on procedure: There r many ways 2 fuse: anterior, posterior, or both. The 1 2 best advise u is ur surgeon. If u have doubts get an answer 2 which procedure is proposed ; why. If still not satisfied getting a second opinion is in order, but get all the details 1st.

RX / BreastFeeding: Perhaps it is the time to wean your baby while taking strong rx for uti.  For safety reasons, take only for a short time.
