i ate raw/undercooked runner beans. apparently poisonous if like this. what exactly are the effects of them being poisonous as have had no symptoms ?

Runner beans: In Europe  toxicity has been reported  (not in the US) Usually signs appear within 1-8 hours, w/ nausea vomiting /diarrhea. Though  you may not have had side effects  at one time it does not mean it may not occur if you ate them raw/ undercooked again. Please cook thoroughly about 10  minutes.

Pilonidal: Most likely a pilonidal cyst. Could be lipoma, but less likely if its in the right location (top of gluteal crease) for pilonidal and associated with a pit. Hope this helps!

i had a four hour gastric emptying study that came out normal. i am still regurgitating undigested raw fruits and vegetables from 4-9 hours later. some are: popcorn, green beans, pears, cucumber, blueberries, high fat food... what's wrong then?

: If those regurgitated foods seem undigested, esophageal diverticulum may need to be ruled out by upper endoscopy or barium swallowing. However, if you have history of severe type I diabetic mellitus or systemic sclerosis, that regurgitated symptom may occur once in a while even with a normal gastric emptying test.

i noticed certain food like dairy, beans, broccoli, green raw veggies , lentils causes lot of bloating and gas. as soon as i finish eating food my stomach starts releasing. my wife find it very annoying. any recommendations on how to fix this issue?

: You should cut down the foods which cause the problem.
Chew your food thoroughly before swallowing.
You can try Gas X (over the counter) and follow instruction on the box.

No evidence: Some research shows that taking green coffee extract (svetol, naturex) 80-200 mg daily might cause modest weight loss over a period of 12 weeks. However, the research so far is preliminary and poor quality. But hey, dr. Oz likes it and advertises for it.
Seriously, not enough evidence to form a real medical opinion.

Food allergy: Food allergic symptoms can be extremely varied and can be very severe causing anaphylaxis (throat closing, dizziness, shortness of breath) or milder, non-life-threatening,  such as stomach cramps, diarrhea, skin rash, itching, facial swelling, nasal congestion.

Depends on complianc: White bean extract is supposed to boost metabolism and block carbohydrate absorption. However few good studies have been done and those studies show inconsistent results. Appears safe only diarrhea and other mild GI symptoms and reduction of blood sugars have been described. One study showing subjects who were very compliant with the study did show good results.

Cannes Beans: i would suggest that you eat fresh vegetables from your farmer's market if possible. In order to can food products, salt has to be added. Also the aluminum from the cans can get into the food products.
