Bumps: Syphilis doesn't present with a lot of general symptoms unless treated and then patients develop generalized symptoms due to the destruction of the syphilis bugs. First stage manifests itself with the chancre, painless ulcer at the site of entry. Secondary syphilis manifests itself with skin changes (rash, anal lesions) primarily. You presentation is not clear, so better be checked first.

See below: This could be roseola. A common infection in kids to about 2 1/2 years of age. The rash should last about 4 days, then resolve. I would have your child seen.

Your : Your symptoms are concerning, and this persistent rash needs to be evaluated, as does the pain in your testicles.  It was appropriate that you had std screening, and while reassuring that it is negative, i agree with your doctor that the specialist should be seen.  If you have increased rash, fever, increased pain, or vomiting, then you would need to be seen immediately.

More details: Does you face flush easily?  How long have you had the problem? The first thing i can think of is rosacea in which the face flushes whenever there is a rise of core body temperature or from eating spicy foods (alcohol also). Triamcinolone cream may control it temporarily but there are other better options. However rosacea is not associated with hot knees and feet and thus you need to your doctor.

See dermatologist: If these issues have been present for more than 3 or 4 days and are not improving, you need to consult your doctor (preferably a dermatologist).  If you are getting better, you may wait a few more days and observe how things go. I am concerned over the neck pain  however.
