i just heard that pencil like stool is a health issue. i seldom have pencil like stool. very rare. should i be worried? is it colon cancer?

See your doctor cancer is not the only cause of rectal bleeding.

There are circular & longitudinal muscles that contract sequentially to both mix food so it contacts the colon lining effectively (& thus promotes absorption) as well as propels food forward toward the rectum.
