i've noticed a few random bruises on my body lately! i do exercise 4-5x/wk and am in otherwise good health! any explanations? should i be concerned?

Usually normal: A few bruises can occur from exercise or accidentally bumping your arms or legs. If you take aspirin, advil or other nsaids, they can make you bruise more easily. In addition, vitamin e, fish oil, garlic, ginseng, ginkgo biloba, and alcohol such as in red wine can make you more prone to bruising. If bruises are presistent, you should see your doctor to check blood work including CBC and pt/ptt/inr.

for 1-2mo random bruises of all sizes and pigments all over body mainly on arms and legs. its not from anyone, beginning a few on legs then arms, then it increased, biggest is pink/purple 3.5in long most dont hurt, got a new one that does on wrist?

: You need to have this evaluated so a diagnosis can be made. You may need to see a blood specialist-a hematologist-so that blood tests can be done. There are many possible etiologies for this and a hematologist will know the proper blood tests to order so that a diagnosis can be made and treatment rendered. Good luck to you!

i was wondering what could cause me to get random bruises on my body? i get them on my legs sometimes and had it once in my back but it went away. why

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor, if the symptoms persist. The likely causes include unrecognized trauma, side effect of some medication you may on, platelet function disorder or other coagulation abnormality, steroid excess, insect bites and so on.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

i have clusters of bruises on my arm and leg as well as random bruises on my body. i have also been bleeding for over 2 months and having night sweats?

Aspirin Poisoning: It is possible that you have Aspirin toxicity, so you must stop that immediately and be seen by doctor  to rule out other causes soon. You may be anemic as well. Please see a doctor at your earliest convenience.

so i have been waking up with random bruises. my bones and body feel weak/cracking. my doc did a full panel + urinary test. will that be able to tell me if something is wrong. someone told me it could be low iron. will the bruising go away?

: There are many possible causes of easy bruising. It is good that you saw your doctor and blood work was done. There could be something wrong with your ability to form a clot. It could be a problem with your blood counts or a host of other etiologies. Evaluation/COVID 19: You may have COVID 19 or another infection. Please seek medical care right away. If you have Albuterol, please use the inhaler as directed. The dose may be repeated to treat wheezing. Drink sips of water and please proceed to the Emergency room. A chest imaging study may be ordered during your visit.

Nighttime: Do you walk in your sleep? Have restless legs? Perhaps you are getting them in the day and not aware of it until morning. Usually only on legs is just due to small bumps to your legs. Not consistent with any coaglulation or bleeding problem if only on your legs.

Bruising: Bruises are more common with age or deficiencies of vitamins b12, c, or k, or folic acid.
Rare diseases that could have symptomatic bruising include lupus, cirrhosis, vasculitis.
Some types of cancer, such as hodgkin's disease, leukemia, or multiple myeloma.  If you are concerned about symptoms, please contact your physician.

Can't tell yet: If the situation gets worse, or persists for more than 2 weeks, get with your family physician for the workup of a coagulation problem.  You'll get a focused physical exam, a platelet count, and possibly a bleeding time, prothrombin time and ptt.  It's important not to miss adult-onset bleeding problems.  If you are taking a new medication, call the prescriber now.

Ecchymoses: Well there are many causes bruising, we would first have to eliminate the fact that you may be on an anticoagulant or blood thinner and other conditions. Aspirin is probably the most frequent cause we see bruising. And interesting combination is that someone will itch from some cutaneous disorder and scratched during the night, possibly while they are on a blood thinner, bruises appear.
