The right path...: Looks like you are doing a lot right having improved your ejection fraction and exercising regularly.  I have had patients live long and strong after bypass because they ate right (Mediterranean), exercised, slept well, had strategies for stress-relief (meditation has studies behind it) and good relationships. Ask this ? of your cardiologist but I think they will agree...

It depends: His surgeon would be a better resource. Life expectancy depends on several things. How well does his heart squeeze?  Were all the blockages bypassed?  How healthy are the rest of his arteries?  Does he have lung disease, diabetes, other health issues?  Is he smoking?  Will he change his risk factors? Assuming no other issues and normal heart function then he should do very well.

: I would look at how long all of his relatives lived and what they died of. Stop smoking is first thing.  The lower his LDL the longer he will live. This can be lowered by Ornish Diet and/or meds. Your can go to several risk calculators online and enter his data which will predict risk of another heart issue over next 10 years.  Ideally get BMI down to less than 25.Keep BP less than 120 systolic.

Depends on underlyin: Life expectancy's hard to answer; it depends on the patient's underlying conditions (cancer? autoimmune disease? diabetes? neurologic diagnosis?) more so than on gastroparesis per se. Gastroparesis just means that the food transits slowly. It says nothing about whether the food is nutritive, or if the nutrient absorption is poor. So nutrition may be good in gastroparesis. These things decrease your chances of stroke, heart attack &amp; certain cancers.  Avoiding drugs and excessive alcohol also keeps you healthier.  By doing these things, you should be healthier, and hopefully live longer
