By quick, I am: assuming you mean brief. Anything that is pulsating would seem to be associated with a blood vessel/heart beating. Hard to know what would be causing pain, but a major blood vessel in the mid-back is the aorta. A problem, bulge/aneurysm, with this vessel would be the most serious cause of your symptoms and deserves urgent evaluation. I would go to ER; this can be excluded easily with imaging.

Pulsating: If you are a thin person it is not unusual to feel or see pulsation in the area of your stomach related to your aorta. Have it checked by your doctor. If there is any concern he will have the area imaged. All the best.

You best see a doc: We need more info such as: how long has this been going on, a day or a month, has it happened before, and left side of what? We do know that you are a 25 year old female and if this pain is in your pelvis or abdomen then as an ER physician my 1st question is if this could be an ectopic pregnancy which is an emergency. If not then we can sort through other causes. See doctor today or go to  the ER.

Have some evals: A family doctor is a good starting place. You may be wise to have some physical tests and to talk to a psychologist too. After they investigate - you can decide together what is wrong and what to do about it. I expect it will be a bit of both - some emotional parts and some physical. You can help them both with good treatments and taking good care of yourself.

MuscleSpasm&amp;possibly: partially sensing pulse in upper chest &amp; into neck, far less common but if the pulsating pattern is in perfect synchrony with carotid pulse in neck (learn to feel this), then this would fit. Spasm of the powerful muscles (support/move the vertebral column) located around &amp; behind the vertebral column, are far more likely the mechanism. All (but heart) muscle contraction requires orders from brain.

Doctor can evaluate: People get a headache at some time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... Over-the-counter treatments include Tylenol, Motrin, Aleve, Excedrin, etc...  A bad or increasing headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, one that makes the head go "bopping," or other worrisome symptoms should be checked.

why do my superficial temporal artery and the arteries around my neck pulsate fast when lie down on the side of my head? is it a problem with my spine

The superficial: temporal artery travels near the zygomatic arch, the prominent part of the facial bones in your upper cheek. Because of being near a firm structure, it is easier to see/feel. I doubt that lying down is actually making your heart beat faster, but the rapid rate is more observable. Stress/anxiety could be causing rapid beating, but it dserves a good eval with your doctor. Doubt it is your spine.

Strain: Possible strain or tear of supporting ligaments in the knee. See your health provider to assess if further testing or treatment is needed.
