Improve nutrition: The edema is from low levels of protein (albumin) in your blood. This allies fluid to leak out into your tissues. As your nutrition improves and protein levels rise this fluid will be drawn back into the bloodstream and ultimately urinated away

Anti gas: Try some over the counter anti gas preparations. If no relief, see your doctor. It could be that you have gastroparesis associated with the gerd, a condition where the stomach doesn't empty right, but this is fairly unlikely.

i'm having unusual bloating, stomach cramps and back pain. i'm peeing a lot more but i find little relief even after doing number 2.  i'm  constipated and having lost weight unintentionally and not tired feeling at all. when i eat, i get full easily ?

: People with IBS have a very active brain- gut relationship. If you can predict symptoms may develop when confronting certain circumstances, you could try taking an antispasmodic gi medication like ducyclomine  as well as a gas buildup preventative like simethicone in advance. Drinking hot water breaks down gas.  Discuss this with your physician or gastroenterologist.

Hypersensitivity : Hypersensitivity of the enteric nervous system manifesting as dyspepsia or visceral hypersensitivity would be most likely.  Non-gi causes such as musculoskeletal should also be considered.  Bloating is often times a difficult symptom to investigate and manage, as you can attest.

Find the cause: Many different things can cause stomach bloat. True bloating due to a large amount of gas can best be avoided by avoiding the foods, activities that cause the gas accumulation.  Many other things feel like bloating but may be due to inflammation or adhesions or gallstone problems etc.  See your primary to figure out the cause of your symptoms
