That is possible: Qlaira is a combined oral contraceptive &amp; it can cause one to feel more emotional. Let your prescribing doctor know if this is a problem.

qlaira: i changed pillbtime to 2 hours earlier recently. 3 days ago, i forgot my pill in a locked room, so i could only take,  2 pills the day after. i was also an hour late yesterday. effects? i'm on the last riw of current pack now.

Late taking pill ?'s: The only negative effect in taking the pill late by a day or so is occasionally this will cause breakthrough bleeding from the gap in taking them.  This does not affect the contraceptive effectiveness, however.  If bleeding starts, just stop the bcp's, wait five days, then start a new pack.  Take them as close to the hour in the one taken the  previous day.

i have been on qlaira for more than 3 months but my cycle seems to be changing from 28 days to 21 days can i adjust how i take it to suit my cycle or must i change it? i have used it in the past and it worked well for me but now i am not so sure

No need : to change pill, continue on the recommended schedule of taking the pills regardless of bleeding time. If this continues to be off track discuss with your doctor for possible adjustments, so that you don't  interfere with the contraceptive effectiveness, bleeding off schedule does not indicate a decrease in effectiveness.

my girlfriend is on qlaira and completed her months sleeve yesterday, the inactive tab. can she still get pregnant if we had an incident yesterday? she is going on with n new sleeve today

Qlaira: pregnancy?: Assuming a "sleeve" is a pack of new bcp's, a gap of even one day after the seven inactive pills (placebos) can be enough for ovulation to occur, and pregnancy is possible. The risk is minimal if only one day has passed before starting again. To be most accurate, a new package should be started on day 5 of the placebo pills.

i have started taking qlaira tablets on 6.1.2021. about a week into taking them i started cefuroxim 500mg bd for 10 days and tomorrow is last dose (16th day of taking qlaira). for how long after antibiotic is finished should i take extra protection?

Hard to say: Probably best to use extra protection with intercourse until your period begins, &amp; when your new pill cycle begins, you will likely be protected since you will have been off the cefuroxime antibiotic for a while by then.

Perhaps: Oral contraceptives aren't necessarily effective during the first month. Other forms of birth control are appropriate during the first  cycle. If you are just starting on the pill, it would depend when your period was due as to when you were due to ovulate. If you started properly on the fifth day of your period, day one would not be the time you ovulated. However, impregnation is still possible.

i am taking qlaira and cyclokapron at the moment. the cyclokapron is 1500mg per day. i am experiencing calf pain. should i be concerned. ?

Cyclokapron: Cyclokapron is usually prescribed for individuals with bleeding tendencies.  Calf pain may indicate a blood clot , so see your physician and get a test to see if a clot is present in your calf (plethismography by ultrasound Doppler)
