Very important: Surrogacy is used by a patient who is not able to carry a pregnancy herself for various reasons such as medical conditions that don't allow carry pregnancy, not having a uterus, abnormality with uterus and etc.  Thus it is extremely important as it helps women to still have their biological children by having someone else carry the pregnancy for them.

Probably: After endometrial ablation, you should not try to carry a pregnancy, become pregnant.  But the procedure does not affect your eggs.  So your eggs could be harvested to be implanted in someone else.

This is needed when a woman is born without a uterus, has a hysterectomy for cancer or an abnormal shaped uterus.
