i have a dark spot almost black in my butt crack. ive had it for a few months my husband thought it was a bruise (due to the color) and noticed that it still hasnt gone away. it isnt raise and it doesnt hurt its just there. irregular shape?

: Any pigmented skin lesion(black/brown) with a irregular border and mix of colors can be a skin Cancer(Melanoma).
I If it is bigger than the size a pencil eraser you should have a physician(PCP or a Dermatologist) examine this lesion and give you further advice. If it is changing in size and or color, a biopsy of this skin lesion would be a serious consideration to make the final definite diagnosis

i have quite a large lump in my butt crack.. i was told it was an abscess but you can't see it only feel it.. very painful and now lt seems bruised?

See md: This could e pilonidal cyst which needs to be removed surgically. It may become infected and very painful. Remove it elctivelly rather than wait for emergency.

Possible abcess: Sounds like you may have developed an abcess (a collection of pus/infection) in that area. If this is the case, you need tobee seen by a medical professional who can see if the pus needs to be drained out and possibly antibiotics. This should not get put off as these things can get very bad and the infection can spread, including into your body.

Rash: Couple things come to mind based on location: warm, dark, moist area is perfect spot for fungus to take up residence. Other possibility is shingles (reactivation of the chickenpox virus). See your fp to examine rash to determine what it is & to provide appropriate treatment.
