Horizontal: LINES on fingernails (ALL of them not just on one finger) are often indicators of nutritional deficiency such as IRON deficiency anemia!

Best bet is ...see your PCP (Primary Care Provider) for an opinion (and then a Dermatologist)

Nail: Its blood under the nail if throbbing it may need to be drained otherwise wear nail polish till nail grows out  no quick fix.

Doctor can examine: Her pediatrician can examine in-person. Sometimes the doctor will conclude that nothing needs to be done. Other times the blood underneath the nail can be drained to relieve pain (it usually helps a lot). Occasionally, the finger will be crooked due to damage to bones, ligaments, or tendons, and need evaluation by a hand surgeon. If symptoms are mild, a video consultation may suffice.

Possible Reynaud's: Reynaud's phenomenon is a circulation problem that can cause the nails of the fingers and feet to change colors, the feeling of them being cold, as well as accompanying numbness or tingling upon rewarming. With exposure to cold temperature, classically the nails will turn white, then blue/purple with numbness, and then red with possible swelling and throbbing as the circulation improves.

This could be a -: -heart or respiratory problem. have you noticed that your lips are also bluish. if so, you would also be short of breath with exertion. if this fits your complaints, you need a cardiac and or pulmonary evaluation.

i smatched my finger and i'm worried thay it was sprained ...my nail is bleeding and turning dark purple and its a but swollen, i am able to move it ?

Trephination: Bleeding under the nailbed can be very painful because it can create a large pressure. In the er or an urgent care ctr, docs will perform a trephination (create a small hole in the nail to let the blood out) thus relieving the pressure and relieving the pain.

sometimes only a few fingers are cold, rest are warm. also get purple-ish nails(sometimes)when my hands are cold. going 2 see doc, but should i worry?

Circulatory problem?: I sounds like you might have a circulatory problem in your hands or a rheumatological disorder.  Do you smoke at all?  There is a disorder called Bergers Disease. Your doc should know about it.  You live in Stockholm. Get good gloves for the winter.  Go to Italy or Greece for the winter.
