Horizontal: LINES on fingernails (ALL of them not just on one finger) are often indicators of nutritional deficiency such as IRON deficiency anemia! Best bet is ...see your PCP (Primary Care Provider) for an opinion (and then a Dermatologist) Hope this helps! Dr Z
