Go to surgeon: You need to follow through with a surgeon visit as a peri umbilical hernia indicates that there is usually a loop of intestine underneath that protrusion that can get trapped and it needs to be repaired.

Sharp umbilical pain: Can be a lot. Can be constipation, early appendicitis, pancreatitis, gastritis, spigelian hernia  even from  ovary or UTI, Would follow up today with doc since early appendicitis may be an issue

Muscle pulled. : Acute pain, apply icy pad to cool local temperature.  After 24-48  hours, you can apply warm pad to improve circulation and facilitate healing and pain relief.

: It is possible to strain your abdominal muscles but you cannot damage your belly button with exercise.  Flu could also make for sore muscles.  Try some warm compresses and continue to exercise, cautiously until the feeling resolves.

Bump in navel: May be an umbilical hernia if by the navel, or  ventral hernia if nearby. . Would follow up w/ doc today especially if red  painful as may need surgical  intervention.
