Possibly: This could be simple or very complex.  Due to the fact that you are only 18, it is more likely that this is not an emergency, however, it could be more than simply a pulled muscle and with this amount of limited information, i think it wise to go be checked out to play it safe as there are other things more serious to worry about here.  Don't panic, just play it safe please.

Docs can only Guess: Pain in a muscle probably relates to use & fact that all muscles, during contraction, block their own blood flow. With more contraction than relaxation, muscle may become sore. Remember: mds did not design or engineer human beings & are taught basics of partially understood body functions with primary emphasis on signs, symptoms & theories of advanced disease (health excellence never mentioned).

COPD: You have a form of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) which isn't your fault but happens to people from breathing the air we live in and/or second-hand smoke and/or bad luck. See your doctor as there are a variety of inhaler treatments that may very well help you. Be gentle with yourself: you're not 18 anymore. You may need to modify your exercise regimen but exercise is still advised.

i feel it lightly, when i apply pressure to my left side chest muscle i feel it, i run everyday and my heart beats are fine, i do not run out of breath, i never feel dizzy. the pain goes away when i take pain killers. ?

Emergency: Potential causes of this chest pain include viral illness, pericarditis, pulmonary embolism, viral illness and some  less common problems.  An urgent visit to ones doctor, a cardiologist or to the Emergency Dept is warranted to enable a careful search for the cause of pain.

Hello. : Hello. I do not know if you appendicitis.  Sometimes the pain from an inflamed appendix can start around your naval. The pain usually worsens and then can be felt in the area of the appendix (right lower quadrant of your abdomen). Usually the area is tender when touched. You likely donâ€™t feel like eating if you have appendicitis and you can experience nausea, vomiting or a fever.  You indicated that you have been coughing  & sneezing which makes the pain worse.  You certainly could have strained muscles from this. I once coughed so hard that i broke my rib.  The way I am visualising your pain, it doesn't jump out as appendicitis. However, with that said, appendicitis can have a number presentations.  The basic recommedation in medicine, is that any new source of severe abdominal pain should be emergently evaluated.  So, it you are having severe abdominal pain (i was having a hard telling if it was flank/back) you should have it evaluated post haste.

Did you pull a muscl: doing some unusual exercise or activity before this started?  If so, it is probably safe to apply heat and wait it out.  However, if you did nothing unusual and you have pain on deep breathing it could be something more serious like a collapsed lung or blood clot and you should be seen.  Good luck!
