If your dose has been adjusted gradually and the medication is not working with 6 to 8 weeks , it may require a dosege incras or it may not be working at all. Some people suffer depression or anxiety problems without having a serotonin deficiency so when they take a drug like prozac, (fluoxetine) which increases serotonin, it creates, rather than resolves "a chemical imbalance". In all fairness, 13 days is not considered an adequate period of time for a "therapeutic trial", but if you feel markedly worse, by all means, stop taking it!
