Yes: Estrogen is sometimes prescribed for breakthrough bleeding while on Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone).  It does not affect the ability of Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to prevent pregnancy.

Probably nothing: The type of discharge described is quite non-specific.  It could be related to residual menstrual flow.  If this is a consistent symptom, follow up with ob/gyn is recommended.

Continue the full : course of treatment to be sure the lining of the uterus gets completely reset to a thinner layer, in most cases. Discuss with your doctor to sure, as each case can vary as to goals of the treatment.

Spotting: You may be stuffing from anovulation. For Depo-Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to cause no menses for 2 years is highly unlikely.
You may need the Provera (medroxyprogesterone) to bring down your period once a month.

No: Not only might that not help, but it could cause unpleasant side effects.  You expect to have bleeding during the 4th week on the pill, so if you want to try to avoid that you should go directly to your next pack that week.

Birth control pill: Jolessa is a combination birth control pill that has ethyinyl estradiol as the potent estrogen and levonorgestrel as the progestin in it.  Depotprovera is medroxyprogesterone, a progestin only.  Estrogens promote blood clotting more so than progestins. Giving a birth control pill to alleviate breakthroughbleeding on depot provera needs to be very carefully weighed for its risks and benefits.

Ibuprofen 800 mg: You can try Ibuprofen 800 mg three times a day with food, assuming you are not on any other medications and you do not have any kidney problems.

Otherwise, go see your provider and they would say the same but at least they can check your medical history and medications, etc.

Failing that, people sometimes go on birth control pills for 1 month
