: The combination of a heterosexual exposure (i.e. a straight male partner), condom protection, and no symptoms all make syphilis exceedingly unlikely. By itself, a negative syphilis blood test at 1 month is maybe 90% reliable. But the combination of all these factors make it pretty much impossible you have syphilis. But if you feel you need a conclusively negative blood test, you need to wait 3 mo.

Most likely Not HIV: You might have another std (not enough information for conclusive answer was given). 4 wks is not sufficient time for these types of symptoms to show for HIV - at this stage HIV would be more "flu-like" in nature + you used protection. Still if you are concerned see health clinic or regular md for testing.

Possible: Condoms have not been that reliable at preventing Hiv.  More important is the patients HIV status.  You need to find out.  If negative then chances are zero.  If postive, you will need to talk to your doctor.

Highly unlikely: HIV is transmitted through broken skin, open wounds, but mostly through mucosal membranes which is not what above scenario describes. A reliable site is cdc.gov in clarifying STD’s in general.

Unlikely: From what you described you are unlikely to have HIV from the encounter in question. You should get a HIV nucleic acid test at 6 months after exposure. You may have acquired other infections, herpes is not prevented by a condom. It would be prudent to see a doctor for an evaluation.
