can prostate stones cause pain in the tip of the penis?

PROSTATE STONES: These can be from chronic inflammation of the prostate or the can be kidney stones passed into the bladder and stuck in the prostatic urethra. Either can refer pain to the tip of the penis. The former is not reversible the later can be removed or voided out.

hi my bf has nothing wrong in tests but in tomography prostate stone exists. can it be the reason for discomfort and pain in that area?

Not related with Sx: Clinical observation over decades had confirmed that prostate stones as shown in x-ray, tomograhy, CT, MRI, and US, are common, harmless, and not related with local discomfort or prostate cancer. So, there is no reason to worry about it and, of course, leave them alone,

More work up to do: If no protein in urine, need urology care with bladder scope (cystoscope) and may be ct. If protein is positive in urine, then you need nephrology care and may be kidney biopsy with more blood tests.

uroflo came back at 10 but close to empty. should i be worried about bladder/prostate cancer? had kidney stone removed 15 yrs ago. dr thinks stricture

Uroflow: The uroflow does not provide any information regarding cancer of any kind.  It would be very unusual for a 35 year old to have either of those malignancies.  The flow rate is dependent upon the volume of urine in your bladder prior to voiding and 10 cc/sec may very well be normal.

ive had unpredictable, infrequent, & intense episodes of pain around epididymis >10 yrs. prostate, sti/uti, & kidney stones ok. how can i find cause?

Epididymus: The epididymus doesn't like to be messed with and once it has been inflamed, chronic discomfort there for years is not unusual in my experience. I assume that you have had ultrasound examination of the testicles as part of your evaluation. If you still have concerns, a urologist is best qualified to evaluate, advise and treat you.

is it possible to have a kidney stone stuck around my prostate on the way out but with ni pain? or even a tiny stone will cause pain?

Possible: It's possible that a stone of some sort could be stuck . Stones that form in the kidneys and travel through the ureters can get stuck as they enter the bladder. Stones in the bladder can get stuck on their way out. If they r small enough they may not cause pain.  If its not bothersome then i wouldn't worry about it.

my boyfriend had stones removed from his prostate about 2 weeks ago he has dark urine and pain while jaculating although no sperm what could it be?

Accepted Answer

Unclear: I am unclear on what was actually done and why.  Prostatic calcification don't usually require any treatment.  Hopefully he did not have a transurethral resection of the prostate for this. If he did, this would explain the ejaculation issues.  Discuss the procedure, it's indications and expected recovery with the operating urologist.

Ans: When you have a kidney stone the pain can be intense. Depending on the size of the stone as it passes it may tear the urethra this is the blood you see. Best to see your doctor and consider use of antibiotic
