Good results: An INR value is normal if between 1 and 2
Appt between 0.8 and 1.2
Beta 2 microglobulin less than 2
so all results are normal.

More info needed: Unless you are on coumadin, (warfarin) the INR which is normal, does not matter.  The PT is not documented and the APTT does not have a result listed.  The beta 2-microglob
ranges are laboratory specific and your doctor who ordered the test should be able to better advise you.

Normal : That is a normal value -- do you have an enlarged liver ? Because.

i had an inr blood test 5 days ago & had a shooting pain down my forearm then felt light-headed i now hav a strange sort of pain in my forearm what cud this be & what should i do?

Depends : initially every few days. Eventually hopefully once every two or possibly more weeks. Whatever you do make sure to get tested. If you take Coumadin (warfarin) without monitoring it can be very dangerous.

recurring petechiae spots on back of hands (doctor confirmed). blood test a week ago showed normal platelets, normal ppt/inr. alarming?

Possible vasculitis: Petechiae may be blanching or non blanching. ie goes away when you press on it and then returns when you let go vs. not going away. Low platelets are a cause but not the only cause.  Vasculitis or inflammation of the blood vessels may also do this.  Normal platelets does not rule out this possibility.  Its not normal to have petechial rash and needs workup with an internal medicine doctor

i received my blood test results and i noticed that aptt is slightly elevated(32.9 and the normal range is 21.5-31.1). 
inr, pt (quick) and cbc are okay.in last month i was taking clarithromycin, levofloxacine, augmentin and medrol. if it is common?

Don't worry: Likely nothing to worry about. Minor variations in aptt can be related to lab methods. As long as you don't have any bleeding or other blood clotting issues, don't have to worry.

i noticed a lot of red veins and dots around my body. and some discoloration around eyes. i took a blood test platelets 170,000, pt, inr normal. but ptt abnormal. what could this be?

what is the prothrombin time in a blood test?

Measures clot factor: This is a test that measures clotting factor activity.  All these factors are synthesized in the liver, except factor viii, so this is also a check on the capability of the liver as well.  If this is high, it can be from a deficiency or incabability of the factors or a liver failure issue, like cirrhosis, or a vitamin k deficiency from fat malabsorption.  This shoud be worked-up  dr.'s office.

what does it mean if my prothrombin time blood test is high?

Blood clotting : Defective.  Prolonged prothrombin time can be due to deficiency of   a number of coagulation factors.  A common cause it treatment with warfarin/coumdain. Liver disease is an other common reason for prolonged pt.  Depending on the prolongation, the person may be at risk of bleeding.
