See Below: Sounds like you might have irritation to the occipital nerve (occipital neuralgia) or an irritated nerve in your neck.  You may need an MRI of your neck and further work-up by a spine specialist.

Tough to say: Is there any skin discoloration or fever?  Your symptoms may simply be an allergic reaction.  If those feelings progress see a doctor for a proper physical examination.

No: This is not the side effect from Prednisone unless Prednisone does make you edgy leading to hyperventilation (breathing too fast and deeply) which in term leading to the tingly and prickly sensation. Talk to our rheumatologist

hello, i woke up this morning with throat pain and a swollen lymph node on the left side. it hurts to swallow and speak, i also am feeling chills and my skin feels prickly. thank you for your help!

Dr. can check throat: Throat pain can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees a doctor if the sore throat is bothersome, recurrent or doesn't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Throat lozenges and Tylenol or Motrin can temporarily help with symptoms.

when i am in bed i get a small painful feeling on my right side of my neck.  i never feel it during the day and forget about it til i get back to bed.

Sleep habits: Try sleeping without a pillow !  You may be putting your neck in an abnormal position while you sleep. This is especially common among heavy sleepers.

Tendinitis?: It may be tendinitis or bursitis and she should have it checked by her doctor and get treated.She may need aniinflammatory pain meds and  muscle relaxants and may need imaging after the exam to confirm the diagnosis.Shd may need referral to an orthopedic specialist.

Small joints in neck: There are small joints on the backside of the spine that can crack similar to cracking your knuckles. Try gentle range of motion exercises including extension, rotation and gentle flexion. If this does not help over the next couple of days or if things get worse then you should see a physician.

Check immediatly: Different causes : like disc prolapse, neuropathy, stroke but in young age you need to be checked for other causes like multiple sclerosis .. See your pcp.
