my urine flow is slow and i have to put some pressure for better flow of urine.
could i have an enlarged prostrate?

Slow urination: An enlarged prostate is possible, as is a prostate infection.  Please see your doctor for diagnosis.  You may be referred to a urologist.  Ask about natural products to help prostate as an alternative to medication, although conventional medicine is not always knowledgeable about these things.  Peace and good health.

Get evaluated: Pls have a urologist do an evaluation to verify if this si due to obstruction such as enlarge prostate or urethral stricture to name a few causes. It can also be due to bladder muscle tone problem . Your dr can do tests in the clinic to start workup, and requests radiological exam as well. Take care.

Urethral stricture?: This is nothing "silly" at all. See a doctor, preferably a urologist. Probably there is partial obstruction to urine flow . Possible causes include urethral stricture (scarring) from past infection; a wart, especially if you past genital warts (but usually wouldn't last years), or fibroma or similar benign tumor. Partly passed stone could do it, but not years and usuallly causes pain and bleeding.

Clonidine: The short answer is yes,go re consult with your prescribing provider;avoid NSAID drugs ,eg Ibuprofen, as they make the BP more recalcitrant.

Here are some...: Why are you taking both finasteride suppressing testosterone conversion to its active form - dihyfrotestosterone, and cyproterone accetate exerting estrogenic effect? Their joined effect will shrink the size of prostate and affect sexual desire and even erection. As to their possible cause for slight pain and pressure at the the base of the penis, personal repetitive experience will tell story...

Prostate pblms?: At your age, "prostate problems" are rare.  Swelling of the urethra will decrease the "pressure" which accompanies the output of urine or the ejaculate. This may be caused by an acquired STD such as chlamydia or gonorrhea.  Get a referral to a urologist to confirm.

Rule out UTI: Need urinalysis. Could be a mild uti, mildly overactive bladder, mild interstitial cystitis or other early pathology. See your dr. If it persiists.

Overactive bladder: Bladder infection or stretched muscle from childbirth. First get urinalysist then can be evaluated by urologist or uro-gynecologist. If necessary. Oab can be treated with medication, streched musles with kegel exercises or bladder neck or urethral suspension.
