i have been experiencing bloating and chronic belching over the past months. i hear the sound of gases in my stomach and pressure in my flanks. of late i feel severe back and flank pains radiating up when i sneeze. possible causes pls?

: Don't force yourself to belch as it only leads to air swallowing &amp; becomes a vicious cycle. Gas is properly passed down &amp; out the rectum. Avoid gassy foods &amp; gassy beverages. Drinking hot water breaks down gas. Taking simethicone 1/2 hour after a meal prevents gas buildup. Determine if you have lactose intolerance caused by dairy products or gluten intolerance from wheat products.

Call your doctor: Those symptoms can go along with an infection in bladder or kidney.  That can be serious in pregnancy. Call your doctor.
