No: However, there is a theoretical risk that if there is underlying glaucoma, and pressing the eye at night could lead to constant increase in eye pressure, then injury is possible.

Tearing: Tearing is often a manifestation of dry eyes which is very common after LASIK. Use artificial tears ears and consult with your surgeon.

i have severe dry eyes & throat only when lying down. not just during sleep, just when laying horizontal. am fine again soon after sitting up. why?

Lag and Sjogrens: There is a condition called lagophthalmos that you may want to read up on that can cause the dry eye symptoms. Mouth breathing and Sjögren's syndrome needs to be examined as well. You  need to visit your ophthalmologist to see if these conditions are part of the cause of your constellation of symptoms.

Forger massages: Night terrors/sleep walking and sleep talking are all forms of a sleep disturbance commonly linked to sleep deficits. A  short term (days) or long term period where the kid is not getting enough efficient sleep may set it off. Other factors can contribute to the process. Adding as little as a half hour of sleep/24hrs can sometimes decrease or end the events.

During a normal night of sleep, humans usually experience about four or five periods of rem sleep; they are quite short at the beginning of the night and longer toward the end; also called paradoxical sleep.

Also daily oral fish oil supplements can help produce a better quality tear. Don’t sleep in contact lens either.
