Yes: It is common to get a localized infection on only one side of your throat, neck or nose.  Usually it is a virus and it will resolve by itself.

No such thing: I've been a doctor for 30 years. I've seen many cases of laryngeal cancer but none of yeast infection of vocal cords. I don't think there is such a thing. If you have persistent hoarseness see ENT specialist ASAP. Risk factors for head and neck cancer are smoking, and drinking alcohol.

Sometimes: The vocal cord is part of the larynx, and if the disease is very limited to a single vocal cord (of two), a smaller surgery can sometimes be performed with greater preservation of surrounding tissue.

NOT  ASSOCIATED: Laryngo-pharyngeal cancers are usually seen in longtime smokers who present to their physician with hoarseness and sometimes 'sore throat'.  Stomach acid from reflux (gerd) can cause similiar symtoms so a referral to an ENT (ear-nose-throat) doctor can be made.  An ENT will take a camera (laryngoscope) to look all the way down to vocal cords.  Cancer looks like a 'mass', gerd causes irritation.

Too complicated: Not clear what you have. Laryngomalacia and also had epiglottitis? Or R/O means it was ruled out? Laryngomalacia can definitely cause significant stridor.

Very rare but yes: It can happen, most often in people with long term reflux that ends up in the throat or in rare cases of people with a viral disease called laryngeal pappilomatosis.

LPR and lymph node: Hello. Lymph node swelling is typically caused by any inflammatory process in the head and neck region. Such inflammatory processes could include infection from bacteria, virus or fungus. An autoimmune or reflux condition such as LPR could also be responsible. See your doctor for further evaluation.

Coughing: It is does if you are aspirating, impaired sensory innervation, or have associated laryngophargeal reflux. try prilosec and see ENT. May need barium esophageal.

It can: Reflux that penetrates above the upper esophageal sphincter mechanism can sometimes affect the upper airway including vocal cords. Symptoms can include throat pain and burning, difficulty swallowing and voice changes including hoarseness. Check with your doctor. A quick endoscopic examination can make this diagnosis.

Probably not: Nasopharyngeal angiofibroma is a rare tumor that is benign, but very aggressive.  Many cancers of the nasopharynx (nose and throat) are associated with epstein-barr virus (ebv), but not this one. There was a paper written in 2008 that looked at 15 nasopharygeal angiofibromas and found no evidence of ebv. (carlos et al, head and neck pathology, sept 2008 volume 2 issue 3 pp 145-149.).
