Not ok.: He should see a doctor to make sure that he does not have ascites.  A symptomatic hernia requires surgical repair, even if he does not have ascites.

Poss ruptured cyst: With a normal temp, it may just be a ruptured cyst. But even with a normal temp, you could have a pelvic infection. Appendicitis is less likely, but should also be considered with right sided pain. You should get checked ASAP.

They may begin after missed period.

Sensitive Umbilicus: Sensitivity around the umbilicus (belly button) is common in the second and their trimester. The likely reason for this is from stretching of the pregnant abdomen and that the tissue around the umbilicus does not stretch in the same way.
