Baby is cushioned: In a sea of amniotic fluid which is protective.
If you have flu hydrate well w water, herbal teas, soup or juice. Drink sufficiently to have pale to light yellow urine.  Rest a lot!

"Flu" symptom ?'s: There are several conditions which may mimic "influenza": allergies, repeated upper respiratory viral condiditons, etc.. True influenza pneumonitis may last for 4-6 weeks. Ask your gyn physician to check blood tests for influenza, and if negative, refer you to an ENT physician or pulmonologist for diagnosis and treatment.

Possible jaundice: It is important to see your doctor as soon as possible, as it is not normal to have severe nausea, vomiting and yellow colour of eyes. This could be caused by other things as well, and might not be related to your pregnancy. They might need to do further blood tests to determine the cause

32 weeks pregnant with flu. doctor prescribed nasonex (mometasone) but it is not working. can i take dristan instead? it has always worked really well for me.

Ask your Gyn person: Although it is unlikely that dristan would have a detrimental effect on your fetus, it is medico-legally wise to only take advice from your ob-gyn doctor.

Medical treatment: bleeding nose and green mucous suggests a sinus infection.You will need to see your doctor for anti-biotics ,in my opinion.Several other measures can be taken.Speak to your doctor.Your cough may be due to a post-nasal drip due to your sinus infection.As a temporary relief warm/hot water with lemon juice/honey tends to reduce throat irritation and cough.

6 months pregnant with flu symptoms congested nose. gp prescribed prednizones, allergex tabs,adco napamol and flonase. is this safe?

Avoid: The Dr might have thought that your situation was dire, therefore the need for the prednisone. I would suggest contacting the Dr prior to taking them and see if they are truly necessary

i am currently 28 weeks pregnant with flu that now has turned into a sinus infection. i was on co amoxiclav 1000mg 2 weeks ago for a uti. i have been taking panado and using saline nose spray. is there anything else that i can get otc to clear it up ?

? chronic sinusitis: could still be viral, so keep doing the same till it clears, if not, better see your doctor, you may need another round of antibiotics, best wishes
