Hello, : Hello, if using a standard home pregnancy  test, usually the woman can test as early as the first day she misses a period. Sometimes the results can show as negative even if the woman is pregnant because the HCG levels are too low to trigger the test. If in doubt, can wait a week after the first test to retest (can do it earlier as well). The early home pregnancy tests provide +/- sooner. Normally a woman won't develop classic pregnancy symptoms until she has missed her period (nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, increased urination, enlarging waist line, insomia, moodiness, breast tenderess and swelling, etc.).

Not pregnant: If your pregnancy test is negative, you are not pregnant.  However you should see your doctor and be examined.  It is not normal to see blood when you urinate.  It could be a sign of an infection.

This is not that there was a problem this represents you wasting money on a test that would be invalid and naturally negative.  As the new fetus grows and begins to share chemical and blood with the mother then a test will turn positive. You are pregnant.
