i got pregnant 3 months after a c section delivery. i would like to abort. what are the risks and what is the best method of abortion: surgical/ pill?

Abortion risks: There is a long list of possible abortion complications, too numerous to be listed here. However, both medical and surgical abortion are "safe" in the hands of an experienced MD. Medical (pills) abortions are most effective when performed prior to 10 weeks gestation. Surgical procedures are mandate at 12+ weeks for best results.

i want to be pregnant after having 3 c-section and my last bone is  three years so when is it right time to be pregnant again.?

Anytime: The risk for another pregnancy after a cesarean section goes down significantly at 18 months post delivery and is nearly insignificant at 2 years.  The biggest risk with having another pregnancy is that the placenta can implant in your previous cesarean scar on your uterus.  Be sure to discuss this risk with your doctor prior to trying to conceive so you know what the risks are.  Good luck!

just had a unilateral salpingo-oopherectomy done one week ago. had a child three years ago by emergency c-section. curious as to what are my chances of getting pregnant naturally after this procedure and when can we start trying.

Other side status: The condition of the opposite side tube and ovary will determine the answer to your question. If the Fallopian tube is patent (open) and the ovary ovulating normally, then your chances are good for another pregnancy. Your GYN MD can perform a HSG (hysterosalpingogram) test   to determine Fallopian tube patency status.

Please wait: I am sorry for your loss. Your body and your emotional state need time to heal and recover from the nutritional losses. It takes 90 days to manufacture and place into circulation red blood cells that were lost in the previous pregnancy. Please wait at least 6 months before venturing into another pregnancy.

It's not ideal : Short pregnancy interval from a c-section does carry risks. One is placing the incision under strain by the growing uterus. This can put you at increased risk of uterine rupture, but this is still uncommon. The other is risk of the placenta implanting over the scar and invading into the uterus (placenta accreta). This is very dangerous for delivery but also rare. See your doctor. Good luck.

Yes: If you are pregnant, there is little that can be done about it. I would just be monitored for your pregnancy.

Up to you: That's up to you. Most recommend spacing out your children for your own sanity and so you can enjoy the special time with each infant.  6--12 months is best to let your C-section scar heal.

Short interval: short interval pregnancies are not recommended because it leaves the newborn unattended, not breast feed and relatively neglected because you are pregnant and have limitations. From a cesarean section healing stand point, a lot of physicians recommend 6 months before the next child.

1 year.: After your child's first birthday is the earliest i would recommend trying to conceive again. Earlier attempts and pregnancies are at increased risk for adverse outcomes (preterm labor, uterine rupture, anemia etc).

Baby after c section: There is no specific time frame, or waiting period, unless your doc has cautioned you regarding your specific case. You should consult with your ob, to determine if you have any special risks. Otherwise, it is typical to resume sexual activity as early as your OB advised was safe after your c-section (and as late as you feel comfortable).
