The rosette test is expensive, time consuming, and may be operator dependent, so it is rarely performed. But yes, it detects 1st.

Did you miss period?: If you are having regular periods, you are not pregnant. Though pregnancy can occur any time if you are having unprotected sex. You may take a pregnancy test if you miss your period by more than 5-7 days.

Depends on timing: In very early pregnancy, an ultrasound may not show any evidence of pregnancy.  Most doctors wait until at least 7 weeks to scan.  Your doctor can also do a blood pregnancy test if the urine test is equivocal.

See different doctor: This is not normal and needs to be evaluated to see why you are not having a period of you are not pregnant. Try to see a Gyn. Things such as thyroid hormone and elevated prolactin levels need to be evaluated along with a physical exam and review of possible other associated symptoms. Medication can be given to induce a cycle, but the cause needs to be investigated to determine the best treatment
