No, not possible: 3-4 days after conception, it is unlikely that there is any detectable levels of any pregnancy related hormones.  It is also possible that the pregnancy has not even implanted into the uterus yet.  That being said, if you have been trying to get pregnant and feel pregnant, then you must take a pregnancy test.  It is possible that you are pregnant from the previous cycle!

Maybe,maybe not: These tests can be misinterpreted, false positive or false negative. They are more likely to be false negative early on then false positive, but interpreting what is thought to be a faint color change is not definitive either. I would repeat the test with a standard brand hpt, not the dollar store variety, & if concerns remain have the blood test run.

Possibly: Some women are particularly sensitive to the hormonal changes that accompany pregnancy.  So, it is always possible that you could tell prior to a pregnancy test.  Take prenatal vitamins daily, in any event.

Occasionally: That is almost too soon, but if a woman has incredibly good body awareness, she can notice changes in her body at about 12 days after conception. The easiest way to tell is to wait a few days to see if her period comes. If she gets her normal, regular period, she is not pregnant. If she misses her period by a few days, and is usually regular, she can check a home pregnancy test.

At the stage you describe, it is likely you will not have any symptoms.

Maybe. About a week.: Only a positive pregnancy test can tell a woman that prior spotting was actually implantation spotting. It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period.

Maybe: A blood pregnancy test is always more accurate that the urine test. Although many patients will have a positive urine test on the day they miss their period, a negative test does not exclude pregnancy. I would get a blood test if you still fail to get your period.

Yes and No: Yes, one can feel "pregnancy symptoms" 5 days after conception; but No, they would not be caused by the pregnancy. Today's home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A home urine test will give a reliable result by 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after possible conception) or 1 week after missing a period.
