Pelvic exam is not : Cause of bleeding.  You must ask your doctor why you are having symptoms after a routine examination.  Post menopausal vaginal bleeding is abnormal.

biopsy is scheduled but - is it possible for ugly mole that has grown slightly with some colour change to be benign? no pain, oozing, bleeding, itch.

Possible: While anything is possible it is better to be safe than sorry .  If it is getting bigger and has some color changing- better to remove it and see what it is.

Yes: An incidental finding of a slightly thickened uterine lining is not a major emergency.  It sounds like your doctor has carefully evaluated you and not found a problem.  Unless there is more to the story that I don't know, a hysterectomy seems like a bit of an overkill--like cutting a tomato with a chain-saw when a paring knife would do.  Best wishes!

Pretty low: Given your age cancer would be low risk unless there is a history of early cancers in your family. .

: Need to discuss with your gastroenterologist.  MAY indicate you have inflammatory bowel disease but from your description can’t tell if it’s Ulcerative Colitis or Crohn’s Disease.  Differentiation very important.  Again, check with gastroenterologist

Appy pressure.: Pressure should stop bleeding. If it resumes after you have applied the bandage you may have blood pressure problems or an infection. Seek medical advice with your doctor.

Depend: If the lesion is large and biopsy is multiple then you would expect some bleeding a day or so afterward.  However persistent large amt of clot is not normal.  If occur see your sutgeon.

Depends: Bleeding without trauma should stop in 2-3 days. If it has been a week since surgery and you are still bleeding spontaneously, please contact your doctor.

Healing: A cone biopsy is a huge procedure; the specimen can be the size of my relatively small nose and it's not surprising that the blood vessels that grow into the new scar tissue are fragile and leak over the following weeks. Be thankful -- essentially every conization biopsy with a favorable pathology report afterwards represents the cure of a cancer that would otherwise have been deadly. COngrats.
