the only pos blood test i have is ana of 1:320. neg rf ccp dna and sm antibody was low of 10. extreme joint pain 6 mnth. ra, lupus, or neither?!

+ ANA: There are other spondyloarthropathy that can cause a lot of pain and will require treatment.  Did they do an HBLA27 test?  Make sure you f/u with your rheumatologist. If you have RA you can get these results. You may need to start a biologic medication.  Good luck and feel better soon)

my sister hasn't had a period in 8 yrs (drs don't know why). she started bleeding 4 days ago. she took a hpt it was pos.. now blood test inconclusive?

Depends: Your sister should get further workup to get pelvic us perhaps and look for molar pregnancy as well as a normal one. A molar pregnancy is a pregnancy with a mass of cells rather than a fetus. Also could be a hormonal pituitary issue with hx of addison's.

Not sure: Positive nitrites in the urine is indicative of a urinary tract infection. I am not sure what blood test has to do with it, though.

Tests chlamydia: blood test for chlamydia is not the usual test for sexual transmitted infection so perhaps that is what the nurse meant.

Within normal range: We like to see the HCG double every 2-3 days in early pregnancy, and yours is doing that.
Vaginal ultrasound will usually see a pregnancy once the HCG is over 1000, but it's usually better to wait about 1 week after that to be able to see the fetus and heartbeat.

I don't understand: your question. There may be no "problem" whatsoever. Women can have symptoms compatible with pregnancy for many reasons other than pregnancy. Since I don't know what your symptoms are, a pregnancy test would be the best way to find out if you're pregnant, and if yours is normal, discuss other potential causes of your symptoms w/your doctor.

See your doctor: If you had a pos test followed by 3 negative tests, then you may not be pregnant anymore.  If the pos test came last, then the others may have been too early.  If there is continued confusion, an ultrasound is reasonable.

+ ovulation neg preg: So in this case you successfully ovulated meaning the ovary released an egg. This is good but unfortunately the egg was not fertilized though so you did not get pregnant. Pregnancy does not occur every time someone ovulates. Keep at it.

Misspelled?: Proteus mirabilis is a bacterium which can cause sepsis.  Proteus syndrome is a congenital condition involving skin overgrowth and atypical bone changes, named after the god proteus because of changing forms.  Protease inhibitors are antiviral drugs used to treat hiv.  Not sure what you are referring to.
