: Conceivably yes, but this sounds more like a typical acne pimple.

Comfortable: Stop playing with it or it will get bigger.  Do anything that makes you comfortable. It takes about 2 weeks to go away no matter what you seem to do. However check with your pharmacy for a few items that may make you more comfortable - remember that they generally do not shorten the 2 week time.

Mucocele: Likely a mucocele - a bluish  translucent bump on the lip. Often with rupture has yours has. Usually recurs. The current lesion will heal. If the bump recurs, see an oral surgeon for exam/removal.

See Dentist: This requires eyes on it to best identify/diagnose. Depending on history of chewing/biting lip, bumping it, etc. it can be many things. Location also important and duration. Can be traumatic fibroma, lipoma, cyst (not likely), etc. Get it examined and treated. Good Luck.

If you have a: historybof cold sore or heroes then yes a trial of Valtrex (valacyclovir) may help but have looked by a doctor first

Cold sores: It is most likely a cold sores.  If this is the first time you have it , most likely you have been exposed to somebody with it. It is caused by Herpes virus. Sometimes treatment is needed esp if it become recurrent.

: Herpes causes tiny blisters with some discomfort then burst and heal. They do not cause a red dot so chances are you do not have it.                                                                                       however you can get H Simplex if you have oral sex with someone who has  oralH. simplex
