oil droplets in toilet after pooping. it sticks to the side of toilet bowl too and hard to flush. stool itself is normal in consistency but a little tacky/sticky. sometimes abdominal discomfort. constipated sometimes. eat healthy and exercise daily?

: Apparently not all the fat is being absorbed. If your stools are otherwise normal in  color &amp; consistency,I wouldn't consider this to be a malabsorption syndrome or a sign of intestinal pathology. You could try eating less fats. Consult a gastroenterologist as needed.

when i poop it sticks to sides when i flush because the poop is so long.  however afterwards its not there.  only  when i am constipated it doesn't leave marks.  i have ibs but unless i am constipated my poop sicks to toliet when a flush?

: You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

No...: Sticky soft feces that clings to the toilet bowl is not a sign of any particular pathology.  Your diet may contain a lot of pectin (found in fruits)  giving the feces a sticky consistency.

Not likely: If you washed your hands thoroughly, and had no other breaks in the skin or direct contact with the fecal material, you will be fine.

How long?: bowel habits differ among everyone. When you say a while...How long is that?  If you are taking prenatal vitamins then they probably have iron in them, and this will tend to constipate women worse.   I would suggest taking a stool softener while on prenatal vitamins. The most common side effect of constipation is abdominal discomfort.

Colitis?: Is this new?  Any fevers?  And what's the consistency - normal or loose?  This could be an infection if new, or an inflammatory bowel condition if more chronic.
