my period is 2 days late, my urine smells like a cat litter box as well as my bowels. plus i have a vaginal itch with white discharge that started 24 hours ago..can someone tell me what this could be?

: Those could be the early symptoms of genitourinary infection. You need to hydrate well in the next couple days, at least 2 - 2.5 liters/day, using warm sitz bath with baking soda, 15 minutes, 3-4 times at the same time. If dysuria (frequent voiding with burning pain) or worse vaginal symptoms occur with these measures, you need to see your family doctor or a GYN doctor for test(s) and treatment.

Stool odor: This is dependent upon what you are eating and what the bacterial flora of your colon is like.  Outside of extremely foul smelling stools which can be a sign of some types of infection, it is very difficult if not impossible to pinpoint the etiology of your feces odor.

Not likely related.: I know of no relationship between "smelling cat box odor" and having toxoplasmosis.  It is possible that you might have this infection, but it is likely not related to anything that you are sensing with your nose.  Hope that this helps.

...Rotten In Denmark: Has she tried catnip? Or maybe Arm and Hammer... Vinegar?  Better yet, get to a gynecologist to sort this out because a weird or unusual smell plus menstrual problems smells like a problem for a G-Man! In the meantime, a nose clip for you, and keep it dry 'till this is sorted-out. Seriously, get to a gynecologist.

See below: The scent won't hurt you, but you should avoid the litter box because your cat can transmit toxoplasmosis.

: The odor won't affect your health and you won't inhale this parasite's oocysts in feces but you may contract toxoplasmosis with contaminated hands so use gloves or wash your hands well after handling the litter box. Most people infected with the parasite do not have symptoms and we only concern about children, pregnant women or people with impaired immune system.

Not really: Cat litter is usually clay.  It is not good to eat it, but is not harmful.  The worst part would be the cat poop or possibly parasites from the cat.  Many children have eaten cat litter without any problems.  If the baby develops vomiting, abdominal pain or diarrhea, then have tests done for an infection from the litter.

can cat litter deodorizer be used to whiten teeth?

Why chance it?: I am not sure what is in cat deodorizer, but if it meant for a cat, i wouldn't trust it or want to use it in my mouth.  I don't know of any clinical study that shows it is better the materials used by dentists.
