Most conjunctivitis or pink eye is viral so the Polytrim (polymyxin b and trimethoprim) would help only is there is an overlying bacterial conjunctivitis which can happen.

A stye: Is not infectious. Polytrim (polymyxin b and trimethoprim) will not help this. Use hot compresses on the eye for 10 minutes at a time and repeat as often as you can during the day. This will eventually cause the stye to get smaller.

No: However, recurrent eye infections should make you wonder why this is happening.  If you are a contact lens user, perhaps there is a problem with your lens hygiene.  Also, this time of year allergic conjunctivitis is common and can simulate or bring on infection.  Finally, be sure to clean your eyelashes and lids daily with a washcloth and warm water.
