Safe to try, however: Please be aware the term "natural" on a food label is meaningless- foods with gmo's ; toxic chemicals are often labelled natural! however, plexus slim is natural ; appears to be safe. However, there is little evidence it works- see

None: There are no supplements that are effective for weight loss so I don't recommend any for my patients.  Focus on changing your diet and increasing your exercise.  Read a book called "Dr. A's Habits of Health" by Dr. Wayne Scott Anderson.  Very informative, thorough and easy to understand book.

does plexus slim have anything to do with changing thyroid function to lose weight? i have hyper thyroid disease. is plexus safe to use.

No effect on thyroid: Plexus slim has a bunch of herbs, green tea, and other stuff which is basically harmless (probably will not do much good either).  It should not interact with your thyroid.  You should get your hyperthyroidism under control before attempting any significant weight loss.

Plexus Slim: The ingredients is this nutritional shake are Garcinia cambogia, Green coffee extract and ALA 9 alpha lipoic acid) this is all hype and no substance. If Adipex is not working for you after several months is because you developed resistance. You are better of joining weight watchers and portion control and aerobic exercise. If you are morbidly obese then bariatric surgery could be an option. Sleeve

Dietary supplements: FDA monitors both prescription &amp; over-the-counter medications. This means that companies must prove both safety &amp; effectiveness of their medications before they can market them. OTOH, manufacturers of dietary supplements have no legal obligation to prove either safety or effectiveness prior to marketing. So long as put FDA disclaimer on product, they can make up wild claims &amp; miraculous promises.

All of: the weight loss supplements are worthless and a waste of money. The only thing that will get smaller is your wallet. Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or internet scams.

Depends on the drink: Some weight loss drinks are just extra fiber and water, so those should be fine. The drinks that have drugs and chemicals as ingredients are a bit worrisome, so one should bring the drink to her ob-gyn appointment and ask the doctor.

bad wrinkles under eyes. 43 but look 80. lost weight. think something wrong beyond age/weight loss. drink soda, use retin-a, hot showers, need to use eye moisturize. i worry alot. what's cause/remedy?

Cosmetic, treatable: Though you have health issues, this is probably unrelated. Usually hereditary--look at your parents' lower lids.  Most likely correctable with outpatient surgery or chemical peel for resurfacing. No otc remedy known to work. Good news-treatment safe ; long-lasting. Bad news-not covered by insurance.

Accepted Answer

No: All advertised weight loss products are not fda approved and are not really useful.  A good diet and exercise program are the best way to go. Take care!
