Folic acid: Is probably the most likely nutrient missing in your diet.  Others are common in multivitamins, so if you're taking one of those you should improve.  Vitamin B12 would be a close second in this regard.  As for foods, eat food high in these substances, like lentils!

You may, but why?: It is generally not a good idea to take medication that may not be needed. There is no conclusive proof that fish oil will improve health, except for high blood levels of triglycerides. Eat a balanced diet and you do not need supplements.

Unlikely a diet issu: Kids with platelet counts it that range often have a burned out idiopathic thrombocytopenia on an immune basis. Over the next several years the count may return to normal. If you haven't already, i would consult with a pediatric hematologist on the issue.

No: If you are an AML patient it depends where you are in your therapy cycle. Marrow examination may be important here.

: High platelet count can be the first and only sign of serious bone marrow disease, especially chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), myelodysplasia, and similar problems. Early treatment is important and can be extremely helpful. If your platelet count remains in this range after 2-3 blood counts, ask your PCP for further evaluation, such as consultation with a hematologist-oncologist. Good luck.

No: Platelet rich plasma (prp) is a component of your own blood so it is unlikely that you would be allergic to something that came out of you - it's a part of you.  Prp injections are meant to stir up healing and the first stage is an inflammatory response, so its not unusual to have a natural inflammatory reaction characterized by pain and swelling, but this isn't an allergic reaction.

No: You are comparing two "alternative" treatments in which stuff is injected into the insertions of ligaments / tendons. In prolotherapy, the operator injects sugar, glycerine, or some other simple substance. Injecting platelet-rich plasma is a whole new level of things. Caveat emptor.
