Yes: Most patients do well with nonoperative treatment.  A small number of patients are candidates for a meniscal transplant.  Some will go on to need a partial or full knee replacement.

No implants: There are Platelet Rich Plasma PRP injections that some doctors use made from your own blood plasma.  Needs  special equipment and training for these injections.
Some Rheumatologists treat Arthritis in US w this therapy.  
Running is hard on knees. Maybe consider change in training method, foot wear, sport to prevent further knee problems.

Ice, nsaids: Iyou obviously had a major knee procedure
im not sure how it was paid if you have no
insurance
anyway i would recommend ice and NSAID meds
i would hold off on exercises for awhile to let
the swelling calm down
you may need a cortsione injection.

my friend has plastic and hematite bead implants under their skin and i was wondering if that's safe? are there any specific symptoms to look out for?

Relatively safe: It depends on whether there are any allergies to the material and how aseptically( cleanly) they were implanted, and if there could be injuries to the sites in the future that could cause a possible opening for an infection,

Facial implants: No, they should not. You should feel some fullness immediately around the implant, but there should not be any strange nerve sensations, numbness, shooting pains etc.

i need to properly store a 2 unit nesbit following implants. made out of acrylic or plastic with no metal clasps. do not want it to split if gets dry?

Moisture: Keep it wet.  Cover with water, drop in a denture cleaning tablet.  Change water and put in new tablet daily.

Focus: It might be overwhelming to make a choice, but your attention should be on the results of different groups, their rate of success, complications, need for reintervention rather than type of material used. Connecting with patients that underwent that procedure and from all groups may help you decide which group you trust more.

Best to Ask: Since most plastic surgeons  work hard to achieve patient satisfaction, inquiring about a patient's motivation to proceed with any operation is very important. For example, if a patient is not “internally motivated”, it is highly likely that the patient will end up dissatisfied with the outcome of the procedure. For example larger breasts do not fix relationships for any significant period of time.
