The limit is 72 hour: There is a script pill called Ella (ulipristal acetate) that will work up to 96 hours after but your doc must prescribe it so please call your obgyn today or go to an urgent visit center.

It might: Plan B is a progesterone agent which usually works by preventing ovulation so no egg is available to be fertilized by the sperm, or by preventing implantation of a fertilized egg. It is most effective when taken within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected intercourse, but there is evidence that it can work up to 5 days after (but less likely). Sex is always safest within a committed marriage

Not Unusual: Nausea is definitely associated with plan B.  It is also associated with pregnancy, but this would be early to be experiencing nausea with pregnancy.  Check HPT.

Pregnancy unlikely: Plan B (or other emergency contraceptive pills) can alter the menstrual bleeding for the cycle in which Plan B was taken, and sometimes the next cycle too. One should be sure to check a home pregnancy test about 3 weeks after sex, because Plan B works most of the time, but not all the time.

Typical with Plan B: Plan b essentially disrupts the normal menstrual cycle by blocking or delaying ovulation. That it is how it works and why it is so different than a medical abortion. Irregular bleeding after taking Plan B is not rare. Always check a pregnancy test after using Plan B and see a doctor to start a better form of birth control.

Disrupted cycle: Your negative pregnancy test 4 days after a missed period is probably accurate. Most likely, the a plan B has temporarily disrupted your normal cycle which should re- regulate soon (repeat the pregnancy test if this doesn't happen!).

Not sure: If your menstrual period ended on 5/12/14 then there was no need for Plan B. If the period did not come, Plan B should have been taken after the episode of unprotected intercourse. You need a GYN exam to sort this out.
