Otolarnyngologist: The sound may be related to motions of the larynx and other throat structures during swallowing. The white spots may be tonsillar stones which are benign collections of old food particles. If you have continuing concerns, an Otolaryngologist is best qualified to examine and advise you.

Interesting.: It could be from mouth breathing when you slept and caused a dry mouth situation. If this cleared up, then it likely was associated with that. If not, and is continuing, you will want to have it examined by your dentist as soon as you can to determine what the cause might be and how to remedy it.

Aphthous ulcer?: If it is like a small crater with a white center and painful in the soft palate, it could be an aphthous ulcer, If it's actually on the tonsils, it could be an infection.

Difficult: It is difficult to comment on something that cannot be seen or felt.  Your best action is to have a dentist take a look and see.  It could be normal or something that needs treatment.  Sorry i can't help you more...

Strep test: should be done.  The sore throat is most likely due to the virus which caused the pink eye.  However, both could be due to Strep.  It is not unusual for Strep to cause conjunctivitis (pink eye).  It is a good idea to have a Strep test done when you have a sore throat.  Left untreated for &gt;7 days, Strep throat can cause rheumatic fever and rheumatic heart disease.  It is just not worth the risk.

saw doc re white spot on left tonsil. cbc blood tests normal. throat swab was bacteria. just seen for first time small pink lump under left tonsil ???

Swab: Ususally the bacteria is usually strep. Were you treated.
