2yr old had pink eye, ear infection &low fever w/ 45 breaths per min at night but normal breathing @ check up. now 2nd day of amoxicillin 400mg 6ml & has normal breathing but now has crackling sound when breathing out. what can be causing the noise?

Monitor: The sound may be transmitted from the upper airway if he is congested, but expiratory sounds may also be associated with wheezing. If he is breathing normally and improving without fever, please see your pediatrician for follow up.
Provide clear liquids and treat fever. Nasal saline may be used to relieve congestion.

Mastoiditis: With mastoiditis you would notice swelling with tenderness. Often the ear on that side appears more prominent. Continue to observe her for further symptoms. All the best.

Cbc: You didnt give the total white blood count but for me this signifies either and early viral infection or a low greade bacterial infection. The RDW and mpv are red blood cell indices and are inconsequential as related to this infection

Cat bite: Cat bites usually need an antibiotic and it sounds like this one is getting worse and not better.  Don't delay and see a primary health care worker.

Ear: If its painful its probably a pimple and needs to be checked out and sometimes drained. If not painful, it could be a skin cyst. No real way to prevent them
